The Backhoe Song

The Backhoe Song

Slowing down to enjoy the Christmas Holiday enables my wife (Ronnie) and I to do things we wouldn’t usually do.  One such activity involved an old VHS tape that I had converted to a DVD.  We hadn’t seen this footage for about twenty years.  Knowing much of the video involved our 24 year old son’s early years, Ronnie and I looked forward to watching it.

And then, to our surprise, we watched a hilarious, two minute segment of The Backhoe Song. Michael co-wrote the lyrics.

Michael loved construction equipment which you’ll see in the below video.

Sing along with the Backhoe Song

Backhoe Song Lyrics:

Oh, I love my backhoe. Oh, I love my backhoe.

Because a backhoe has big wheels.

And a backhoe has big lights.

And a backhoe has hydraulics.

And a backhoe has big buckets.

Watch the entire two-minute video to witness the drama that erupts as Michael struggles to make kazoo noise and accompany his dad.  It is fun and you will enjoy and savor every moment as Ronnie and I have.

The below video gives you a glimpse into life in the Coscia household from twenty years ago. My best wishes for much good health and happiness in 2016!
